If the package is lost in the mail, we file a claim and send you a refund or replacement as long as the item is not marked as delivered, and there has been no tracking activity for 30 days. Custom made pieces are made from an original piece in your pattern that are not otherwise available or difficult to find on the market, especially in discontinued patterns. Hollow handle items are made from an original handle in your pattern with a new stainless implement. Then the piece is hand-finished by a highly skilled silversmith in the USA. All custom orders are made-to-order and usually ship within 5-7 business days. Now that many sterling patterns have been discontinued, custom pieces have become a staple in the sterling silver industry and are widely offered by mainstream sterling flatware dealers.
Yes, the hollow handle is sterling and a genuine handle in your pattern, even though it is not usually stamped. Hollow handle items were usually not stamped due to their hollow construction. All of our hollow handle pieces are thoroughly inspected and tested prior to shipping and are guaranteed sterling.
All Returns or Exchanges must be returned within 14 Days of receipt. Please contact us either by email message or phone 1-800-637-4583. Refunds are issued within 3-5 days of receipt. We will state: "Housewares" on the customs declaration paper and use the appropriate code. Due to International trade laws, we cannot declare any shipment as a gift. Per WI & IL law we are required to collect sales tax on items shipped to Illinois and Wisconsin. We are located in Wisconsin and do antique shows in Illinois so we are required by both states to collect sales tax. There is no sales tax on orders shipped to other US states.
Will I receive the free bonus flatware chest if I am buying a flatware set and I am an international buyer?
No - Due to the weight and cost of shipping the free bonus wood chests, new tarnish resistant flannel rolls will be substituted for all International shipments. Free bonus chests are not included in International shipments of sets and we will instead include bonus free flannel storage rolls.
